The steel moulds reached maximum temperatures of about 130-140°C. This not only caused a lot of heat loss and uncomfortable working conditions in the factory, but also made it difficult to work with these moulds when they were in operation. It was agreed to reduce the temperature to 50-60°C. Customer required a smooth finish and needed the mould to be protected from exterior influences and contact.
Surface was first adequately cleaned and then HOT SURFACE COATING was applied in 3 layers, offering a total thickness of 8mm. Coating was then sanded smooth and covered with a protective ENDUROOF top layer.
